Who says learning Science can’t be fun?
Our Primary 5 students had an exciting and hands-on adventure at Hydro Farm KPS on 27 and 28 October! They discovered the wonders of hydroponics and learnt how fresh, green oak vegetables can grow using just water. From sowing seeds onto sponges to transferring their little seedlings into the hydroponic water channels, our young learners got to experience the magic of growing vegetables first-hand! The excitement continued as they harvested their very own fresh green oak and turned them into delicious salad rolls.
But wait, there’s more! After all that hands-on fun, students tucked into a scrumptious meal of chicken steak, spaghetti carbonara and crispy french fries! To top it all off, everyone received a hydroponics starter kit to bring home and continue their green-fingered adventure by growing their very own green oak. What a fantastic day of discovery, learning and yummy treats! Who knew Science could be this much fun?
