Welcome from the Head of School

Time flies. Last academic year proved to be challenging as we made changes in our school to provide quality teaching and learning to our students. We truly “shine like stars in the universe”, as evidenced by our accomplishments and excellent academic results. Our theme for this academic year is “Towards a Greater SISB”. We are confident that we will be able to face the challenges of the new normal as the pandemic situation stabilises. Our focus is to ensure that our students will continue to receive quality holistic education as we prepare them to be “Scholars, Leaders and Global Citizens”, and SISB to be a world-class school. On this note, I warmly welcome you to SISB Pracha Uthit.

Our Environment

At Nursery-Kindergarten, students learn using the UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. In Primary, the Singapore curriculum, which is renowned for its excellence in Maths and Science, lays a strong foundation for the child. In Grade 7 and 8, a hybrid of Singapore and UK curricula is used.

The following two years will see a transition to a full UK curriculum with the Cambridge IGCSE for Grade 9 and 10 students. For our high school students (Grade 11 and 12), SISB provides a choice between two acclaimed curricula – the Cambridge AS/A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme. We offer a wide variety of activities and academies to develop our students into well-rounded individuals, including experiential learning trips, and programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

SISB Boarding

In SISB Boarding, we create a living environment that allows students to have a Home Away From Home.

Managed by a professional, experienced and caring team of Boarding staff, some of whom are in residence, students are catered for holistically with a prime focus to ensure they are safe, protected, and comfortable to achieve excellence in their academic and non-academic pursuits.
