On 2 October 2026, SISB Thonburi was delighted to welcome a delegation of school leaders and educators (Principal, Vice-Principals and 3 teaching staff) from Greendale Primary School, Singapore, marking an important step in building a meaningful and sustainable partnership between our two school communities.
The visit was centred on a shared aspiration: How can our two schools work together to create authentic, safe, and memorable learning experiences for our students? The programme offered opportunities to connect, understand each school’s educational context, tour the SISB Thonburi campus, and discuss in detail the proposed Student Exchange Programme between Thailand and Singapore.
More than planning an exchange, we are creating opportunities for our students to learn with one another, experience different cultures, build meaningful friendships, develop independence, and broaden their perspectives beyond the classroom.
The partnership will begin with online connections between students, followed by SISB Thonburi hosting Greendale Primary students in November 2026, with plans for our students to experience school and cultural life in Singapore in July 2027.
This collaboration brings our SISB vision of nurturing Scholars, Leaders, and Global Citizens to life. Through authentic international experiences, our students learn that being a Global Citizen is not simply about knowing about the world—it is about having the confidence to connect across cultures, appreciate different perspectives, build relationships, and learn alongside others.
We sincerely appreciate our colleagues from Greendale Primary School for making the journey to Bangkok and sharing our belief in creating meaningful opportunities for young people.
