“Transitioning from a Thai school to SISB Kindergarten 1 was a pivotal moment that marked the beginning of a journey filled with challenges and achievements. Navigating a multilingual academic curriculum, I found myself playing catch-up not only in English but also Chinese. With support from the entire SISB community, I was imbued with both academic excellence and values, which allowed me to focus on academics, and also take part in various community service activities. The learning journey in SISB has contributed to my growth, and I am eager to embrace further challenges and joys that lie ahead.
SISB’s University Counselling team guided and supported me greatly through the application process to pursue my dream universities, and towards my aspiration of becoming a medical scientist, focusing on neurological diseases, especially on delaying the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
Never stop trying, never stop believing and never give up on yourself. There may be ups and downs throughout this journey but one day it will all be worth it. Focus on the little steps in front of you, and not just strive for perfection. It may take years, however, but it’s going to be one of the greatest milestones.”
