On Jan 30, SISB Suvarnabhumi held the preliminary round of our annual SISB Math Olympics for our Primary students to encourage them to strive for excellence in Mathematics.
All participants took the written test and the top 3 scorers of each level formed a team for the Finals which were held on Friday, 15 March 2024 in Pracha Uthit campus.
Teams of each level from each campus competed for the title of Grand Champion during the Finals. By bringing together students from different campuses, the competition created a sense of camaraderie and teamwork as they worked towards a common goal. Furthermore, it served as an opportunity for students to learn from each other, as they observed different approaches and solutions to mathematical problems.
The competition was also designed to include various categories or levels to accommodate students of different abilities and interests. This inclusivity encouraged students to take a more active role and showcase their mathematical skills.
Additionally, the Awards Ceremony at the end of the program was a platform to celebrate the achievements of students in Mathematics, providing them with recognition and motivation to excel further.
We are pleased to announce that our Primary 3 students achieved the second runner-up position, while our Primary 6 students claimed the grand champion title.
