A Tapestry of Respect: SISB’s Vibrant Wai Kru Ceremony

Held this academic year in honor of our cherished educators. This time-honored tradition reflects our deep respect for those who impart knowledge and experience, serving as an expression of gratitude and a prayer for our academic success.

In this year’s ceremony, the winners of the offering contest were P1 in the P1-P3 category, P6 in the P4-P6 category, and G8 in the G7-G9 category.

The ceremony was enriched by the vibrant traditions of the Northeastern region, featuring beautiful decorations made of spider webs and loincloths. In Isaan culture, spider webs symbolize the spiritual connections between people and places, much like the bond shared among our students, teachers, and school.

This year, our celebration included the beautiful Bai Sri Su Kwan ceremony, traditional decorations, and stunning performances by our P6 and Sixth Form students. A special thank you to Mr. Kelvin for his inspiring speech, and to all our dedicated teachers for their unwavering commitment to our students.

We also extend our congratulations to our P1, P6, and G8 students for their creative offerings in the Khan Mak Mai contest.

A heartfelt thanks to all students who participated in creating the spider webs that adorned our ceremony. May this year be filled with growth, learning, and success for everyone at SISB!
