“Being here for almost 15 years, SISB has truly become my second home, and I will definitely miss the time I spent here. It is a place where I grew up, discovered my passions, and created memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Balancing my time with academics and other responsibilities was quite challenging, but the experiences and lessons that I gained along the way has shaped me into who I am today and will continue to be valuable in the future.
But what made this whole journey a lot more meaningful and memorable were my friends who stayed alongside me from the very beginning. They never fail to bring laughter even in the most stressful times, which is what I am really grateful for. I have also grown close to some teachers and staff who have been really supportive throughout my time in SISB, and I am incredibly thankful for their patience, guidance, and belief in me.
As I step into the next chapter of my life, I will always cherish the memories I made at SISB. No matter where the future takes me, SISB will forever be a part of who I am.
The guidance of the school counsellors helped me a lot with the university application process. Their assistance made what could have been an overwhelming journey much more manageable.
Additionally, the extracurricular activities that I have participated in from primary through secondary school have helped me gradually build a strong and meaningful portfolio. These include serving on both the prefectorial board and the student council, performing in the Thai music band, and competing on the volleyball team. SISB has also been very supportive of student-initiated organisations, giving us the opportunity to take on more active roles. Being part of these activities has been some of the most fulfilling aspects of my school life, as they have shaped my character and prepared me for the opportunities ahead.
To my juniors: Take on as many opportunities as you can, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Have fun and enjoy school life, but also make sure to work hard and try your best so you do not leave with any regrets.”
