On August 17, SISB Thonburi proudly opened its doors for the start of Academic Year 2026–2027, welcoming our students back for another exciting year of learning, discovery, friendship, and growth.
From early morning, our campus was filled with excitement as parents accompanied their children to school. Students arrived with bright smiles and eager hearts, delighted to see familiar faces, reconnect with friends, meet their teachers, and step into their new classrooms. For our returning students, it was a joyful reunion; for our new students, it marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter as members of the SISB family.
At our school entry points, School Leaders, Class Teachers, Subject Teachers, and Homeroom Teachers personally welcomed students with warm smiles and words of encouragement. Throughout the school, students greeted one another enthusiastically. At the same time, teachers and classmates made a special effort to welcome our new students, helping them feel comfortable, connected, and part of our community from their very first day.
At SISB Thonburi, belonging matters. We want every student—whether returning or joining us for the first time—to know that they are valued, supported, and an important member of our SISB family.
As students settled into their classrooms, our teachers took time to establish expectations, routines, and learning goals for the year ahead. Through meaningful conversations, students were encouraged to reflect on what they hope to achieve, how they can contribute positively to their classes, and how they can take greater ownership of their learning. Setting clear expectations from the beginning provides a strong foundation for students to develop responsibility, independence, resilience, and the confidence to strive towards their personal best.
The first day reminded us that school is much more than a place where academic learning happens. It is a community where relationships are built, character is developed, talents are discovered, challenges are embraced, and every child is encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our parents for the trust and confidence you place in us. The partnership between home and school remains essential in supporting every child’s academic progress, personal development, and well-being. Together, we share one important purpose—to bring out the best in every child.
As we embark on Academic Year 2026–2027, we look forward to a year filled with meaningful learning, new friendships, exciting opportunities, personal breakthroughs, and memorable achievements.
