Kindergarten 2 Field Trip to Luang Pho To Temple

On Nov 14, our Kindergarten 2 learners from SISB Suvarnabhumi Campus, enjoyed an enriching field trip to Luang Pho To Temple, the principal temple of Bang Phli District. During the visit, the students learned about the local Rap Bua, or Lotus Receiving Festival, gaining meaningful insights into Thai culture and traditions.

The children participated in several meaningful activities, including offering dry food to nine monks, listening to a Dhamma talk about gratitude toward parents and teachers, and presenting flowers, incense, and candles in the ordination hall to pay respect to Luang Pho To. They also had the opportunity to apply gold leaf to the Buddha image. The visit concluded with each student lighting a candle based on their day of birth and floating it on the water—an experience they truly cherished.
