[University Offers 2025] Tzu yun Chen (National Taiwan University)

“SISB has been more than just a school—it’s been my second home, where my journey of growth truly began. From my first day to the countless memories I’ve created with friends, classmates, and teachers, this place has shaped who I am today. Joining the student council, organising events, performing on stage, competing in sports, and volunteering—each step pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new challenges. While there were moments of struggle, they helped me grow in ways I never expected. What I’ll cherish most, though, is the people—the friendships, the guidance from my teachers, and the support of my peers. As graduation approaches, it’s hard to believe this chapter is almost over. I’ll always carry the lessons, memories, and meaningful experiences from SISB with me as I begin a new chapter at university.

I’m sincerely grateful to the SISB counselling team for their unwavering support throughout my university application journey. They were always patient in answering my endless questions, whether it was about my writing or choosing the right universities. Their constant guidance, from tracking deadlines and offering advice, made a huge difference. They truly went above and beyond to support every student, and I wouldn’t have made it through the process without them by my side.

To the juniors, there will be moments when things feel overwhelming, when giving up seems easier than pushing through. But remember, your efforts, determination, and resilience will shape your success. Trust the process, lean on the support of your family, friends, and teachers, and most importantly, believe in yourself. It may not always be easy, but it will be worth it in the end. Step out of your comfort zone, take on new challenges, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. Some of your most memorable and meaningful experiences begin when you’re willing to try something new. Cherish every moment you have in school, these will be the days that will stay with you.”
