“My learning journey at SISB began in 2023, and it wasn’t easy at first since I didn’t have many friends. However, things improved when I joined the Overseas Education Programmes. I was able to connect with people who genuinely cared about me, and that made all the difference.
One thing that I really appreciate about SISB is its support for music and performance, especially as I am a drummer. Through the band, I met more friends and created unforgettable memories. I also play the clarinet and joined the school jazz band, which has allowed me to further explore my passion for music. SISB encourages freedom of expression, giving me the space to truly discover who I am and who I want to be. The teachers are also wonderful—they are always patient and willing to help me with any questions I have in class.
I really appreciate the school counselling team. There was one time when I didn’t know what to do, and they went out of their way to help me. They even called me during the holidays and after school hours when I asked for help, showing how dedicated they are to supporting students. Thanks to them, I’ve felt supported and cared for throughout my time at SISB.
I strive to be an individual who welcomes constructive criticism and continually evolves for the better, both academically and as a person. My ambition is to cultivate a mindset that deeply reflects on matters, dares to question conventions, and, in the end, achieves success as an engineer.
