On Sept 14, Singapore International School Thonburi, in collaboration with the Phasi Charoen District Office, held the opening ceremony of the English language teaching project for Primary school students. Mr. Kelvin Koh, Chairman of the School Governing Board, presided over the opening ceremony, along with Ms. Nuntana Tangcharoennam, head of the Education Division at the Phasi Charoen District Office.
This programme caters to Primary 3 to 6 students from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration schools, with 75 students enrolled for this edition. Its aim is to enhance English language skills among students in the Phasi Charoen District and to provide opportunities for our teachers to contribute to community development through their language expertise. Classes will be held every Saturday from Sept 14 to Nov 30, 2024.
