Term 2 may be coming to a close but the swimming competition season shows no sign of slowing down. Recently, the Merlions aquatics team made their way to NIST school for the second leg of their annual swimming competition.
Whilst the team may have been small in terms of numbers, the stature of those sporting the orange caps continues to grow as a result of some fantastic performances. That day was certainly no exception as athletes from SISB Pracha Uthit, Nonthaburi and Thonburi campuses entered the water for their opening races. The team displayed excellent technique and also racing skills.
As the unrelenting sun beat down upon those at poolside, the races continued to flow, starting with the tough 400m freestyle race. Our team competed against some of the finest swimmers in the international school swimming scene. With the support of our fantastic Merlion parents, our team went on to achieve some amazing results. Congratulations to the Merlions!
