🌍 World Earth Day Celebration at SISB-Suvarnabhumi! 🌍
On April 25, SISB Suvarnabhumi came alive with energy, creativity, and a powerful message of hope as we celebrated World Earth Day under the global theme “Our Power, Our Planet”.
The event, held at our Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH), brought together students from Primary 1 to 6 in a vibrant showcase of artistic talent and environmental awareness. In preparation for the event, each student was tasked with designing a poster that reflected their understanding, ideas, and dreams for a healthier and more sustainable planet. From the youngest learners to our Primary 6 leaders, the creativity on display was truly remarkable!
During the celebration, students gathered excitedly as the Multi-Purpose Hall was transformed into a colourful exhibition space filled with imaginative posters highlighting important messages about saving the Earth. Themes ranged from protecting forests and oceans to promoting renewable energy and reducing waste. The passion and dedication evident in the students’ work was inspiring and a true reflection of the spirit of Earth Day.
Selected students had the incredible opportunity to present their posters to the entire school community. With confidence and enthusiasm, these young eco-warriors spoke about their artwork, explaining the meaning behind their designs and sharing ideas on how we can all contribute to protecting our planet. It was wonderful to witness their sense of responsibility, leadership, and belief in the difference each individual can make.
The event not only showcased the students’ creativity and knowledge but also emphasised important values such as teamwork, responsibility, and global citizenship. Through their participation, our students demonstrated that they are not just future leaders — they are agents of change.
The atmosphere throughout the event was lively and filled with excitement. Teachers, students, and staff cheered and applauded each presentation, fostering a strong sense of school spirit and shared purpose. The day ended with a reflection on how small actions, when multiplied by millions, can truly transform the world.
