“For as long as I can remember, I have been a part of the SISB community and this is the only school I have ever been a part of.
SISB is an international school with a diverse community and, because of that, I have been able to experience holidays, celebrations and events of other countries that aren’t found in mine.
Through the years at SISB, I’ve made friends that I cared deeply about but lost contact when they transferred schools. Others remained and make up most of the current Grade 12. I have known most of the Grade 12 batch since Primary school, and some, since Nursery-Kindergarten. My conversations with some of the senior students helped me decide on the IBDP, which was very challenging. It pushed me to reinvent myself and adapt, but I do not regret it because I am a more mature person now than when I was in Grade 7-8.
I aspire to pursue the field of biotechnology. I find it fascinating that we have the ability to change the very thing that gives us life. Sometimes, we get lost and hit rock bottom. But that is when it becomes definitive that the only way left, is up.”
