This past weekend, SISBMUN III brought together schools from across Bangkok to engage in in-depth discussions on global issues under the theme Strength in Solidarity: Advancing Global Cooperation. We were honoured to welcome His Excellency, Than Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, who delivered an inspiring opening address, sharing his experiences in diplomacy and work with the United Nations. Motivated by his words, students went on to debate a wide range of pressing international topics with insight, collaboration, and confidence.
The conference also featured an interactive masquerade ball social night, led by students and designed to encourage connection beyond committee sessions. From thought-provoking debate to engaging social events, the weekend was filled with energy and enthusiasm, and we are already looking forward to hosting SISBMUN IV next year.
