On Oct 8, our Primary 1 students enjoyed their very first Mermoney Shopping Day, a celebration of hard work, good behaviour, and academic excellence! 🎉
Mermoney, or Merlion Money, is our school’s very own reward currency that students earn by showing positive behaviour, putting effort into their studies, and doing good deeds in school.
During the shopping day, our young learners had the exciting opportunity to spend their Mermoney on small toys, school supplies, and fun treats! 🛍️ The smiles and laughter said it all, learning truly can be rewarding!
Beyond the fun, this activity also taught our students valuable real-world skills such as saving, budgeting, and making smart spending choices; lessons that truly go beyond the classroom.
A day filled with joy, laughter, and lessons that money can’t buy! 💖
