SISB marks its 25th anniversary, celebrating its growth in international education in Thailand under the theme “Honouring Our Past, Inspiring Our Future”.

BANGKOK, THAILAND (2 November 2026) — On Thursday, 29 October 2026, SISB Public Company Limited and SISB Schools celebrated its 25th anniversary with a Silver Jubilee Gala Dinner at Conrad Bangkok. Graced by H.E. Ms Catherine Wong Siow Ping, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the Kingdom of Thailand, as Guest of Honour, the evening brought together distinguished guests, school leaders and members of the SISB community to celebrate 25 years of educational excellence and look ahead to SISB’s next chapter.
Recognising SISB’s Approach to Education
In her opening remarks, Ambassador Wong highlighted the importance of strong educational foundations and holistic education that prepares students to be confident, resilient, and adaptable. She also recognised SISB’s efforts to incorporate Singapore’s educational approach within an international learning environment.

“I am heartened that SISB has incorporated elements of Singapore’s education approach into its curriculum, while providing an international learning environment that caters to students of different interests, nationalities and age groups”, said Ambassador Wong.
“SISB is a good example of how Singapore’s educational experience can be shared and adapted to the local circumstances to meet the needs of students here in Thailand.”
Building SISB’s Legacy: Evolve, Enable and Extend
During the event’s keynote presentation,
Mr Kelvin Koh, Chief Executive Officer of SISB Public Company Limited and Chair of the SISB Schools Governing Board, highlighted three key strategies that will build on SISB’s legacy and shape its futures.
Evolve: Keeping SISB’s education relevant for the future, through refining the curricula, keeping abreast of the latest global trends and preparing students for a changing world. This includes the understanding and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in its teaching, alongside critical thinking skills to question information, evaluate ideas and make informed decisions.
Enable: Turning knowledge into opportunities to lead. A notable project that SISB has initiated is the English and Chinese Social Responsibility Project, where SISB students share their language skills with local communities, developing empathy, confidence and a sense of responsibility as they help others learn. Bringing together students, teachers, parents and partners, the project has supported more than 1,400 local students and 14 institutions over the past 10 years.

Extend: Extending its reach to more communities, through establishing campuses in new locations and bringing quality international education to families at more affordable fees. This next chapter is already taking shape with the introduction of Marina Singapore International School, its new sister school aimed to make quality education more accessible to the next generation of students and families. Building on 25 years of SISB’s experience, Marina represents a new expression of the foundations that have shaped SISB’s journey.
Introducing Marina Singapore International School

Located within the Supalai Community Living Hub in Rangsit, Marina Singapore International School will serve as the development’s education anchor. The school will welcome students from Nursery 1 to Primary 4 when it opens in August 2027, before progressively expanding through to Grade 12.
Mr Koh said, “Through Marina, we are opening new doors, expanding our reach, and ensuring that the strength of an SISB education is accessible to an even broader network of families.”
“But as we grow, our purpose remains the same: to provide a strong foundation for every student to thrive, contribute, and make meaningful difference in the world.”
Celebrating Student Voices and Talents
The evening also showcased SISB’s commitment to holistic education through language, sport, music and the arts. A student speech delivered in English, Chinese and Thai reflected the school’s trilingual learning environment, while gymnastics and musical performances highlighted students’ confidence, creativity and talents.
A special performance with Kit The Voice added to the celebrations, giving students the opportunity to share the stage with a professional artist. Together, these contributions brought the anniversary’s theme to life, honouring the opportunities that have shaped generations of SISB students and celebrating those who will carry its legacy forward.
