[University Offers 2026] Valunrus Sittiverakul

“From being here on weekends and holidays for training or other events from a young age, SISB truly feels like a second home for me. I always felt supported, whether it was about academics or activities. The feeling of community from not just the students but the staff and faculty is one of my favourite parts of being in this school. Moreover, all the teachers were very encouraging and caring, always pushing me to become a better version of myself, not just in academics but in terms of character.

One of my favourite activities was definitely the musical productions. From Grease, Legally Blonde, Fame, to Mamma Mia, these productions became more than just performances, they became moments of growth and connection. It was where I was able to form friendships with people from all grades and create cherished memories. Through the musicals, I was able to build confidence in performing and expressing myself, learning to step outside of my comfort zone and truly embrace who I am.

Being part of this school has been a truly meaningful experience for me. The great memories and experiences I have had throughout my years here will leave a everlasting impact on me. I will carry the lessons I learnt and the memories I made long past my graduation, always grateful for the community that shaped me into the person I am today. SISB’s university counsellors were very helpful and patient with me throughout my journey. From when I was still unsure on what I wanted to study in university to when I finally got my offers, they were always there to lend their support through answering any questions I asked, even if it was during the weekend, and helping guide me through different application processes. Especially when I was still unsure of my university major, they introduced me to different courses that helped me narrow down what I wanted to pursue.

I aspire to be someone who can make a positive difference and contribute something vauable to people’s lives. Most importantly, to me, however, is that I grow into someone my younger self can be proud of.

To SISB juniors:

You don’t have to know what you want to pursue in life immediately. It will come to you when the time is right, so don’t be too stressed right now. Instead, enjoy your school years. Learn, build friendships and make memories. They pass faster than you think.”
