6th Form Field Trip: Mangrove Education & Restoration Program
At SISB Rayong, we are committed to providing our students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. As part of this commitment to environmental education and community engagement, our Sixth Form students participated in a Mangrove Education & Restoration Program on Thursday, June 19.
This field trip was designed to give students firsthand insight into the importance of environmental conservation, with a focus on the critical role that mangrove ecosystems play in maintaining biodiversity, protecting coastlines, and combating climate change.
During the program, students took part in a range of activities including mangrove planting and a beach clean-up initiative. These hands-on tasks allowed them to directly contribute to environmental restoration efforts while learning about sustainability, ecosystem dynamics, and the impact of human activity on natural habitats.
The experience also encouraged teamwork, responsibility, and a strong sense of global citizenship—core values that align closely with our educational philosophy at SISB. By participating in such initiatives, students not only deepen their academic understanding but also develop the character and skills needed to make a positive impact in the world.
We are incredibly proud of our Sixth Form students for their enthusiasm, hard work, and dedication throughout the day. Their active involvement demonstrates the powerful connection between learning and action, and we look forward to continuing to offer programs that inspire environmental stewardship and civic responsibility.
A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff and supporting partners who helped make this valuable experience possible.
