On Monday, 16th September, SISB Rayong proudly celebrated International Dot Day
The global event encourages students to unleash their creativity, embrace their individuality, and make their mark! This exciting day was filled with artistic exploration and personal expression as our students crafted their own unique dots, which are now beautifully displayed throughout the school for the entire SISB community to enjoy.
Dot Day is more than just an art project; it symbolizes the power of creativity, imagination, and the belief that everyone is special in their own way. Through their dot creations, our students expressed their individuality, each one representing a piece of their unique talents and personalities. This celebration allowed them to step out of their comfort zones, showcase their artistic flair, and connect with a global movement that inspires creativity in schools worldwide.
As part of the celebration, the children read the famous story that sparked International Dot Day— The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. This beloved book, cherished by children across the globe, tells the inspiring story of a young girl who begins her journey of self-expression with just a single dot. It teaches children that even the smallest mark can lead to incredible creativity and endless possibilities. The message of the story deeply resonated with our students, reminding them that their creativity knows no limits and that they each have the power to make a difference.
It was an amazing first Dot Day at SISB Rayong, filled with joy, excitement, and colorful creations that reflect the artistic potential of our students. This special day marks the beginning of a new tradition at our school, and we look forward to many more years of celebrating Dot Day—where creativity, artistic expression, and individuality will continue to shine brightly.
We are excited to see what new and unique creations our students will bring to life in the years to come!
