SISB Thonburi: Sixth Form We Give We Share Initiative

On 5 October 2022 (Wednesday), our Sixth Form students had their PCCG lesson in the school Auditorium.

Guess what? What’s so special about this PCCG lesson? Read to find out more!

In line with the school vision for all students, “Being A Global Citizen”, and the spirit of volunteerism, our PCCG Department carefully crafted and planned a series of Global Citizen Events, one of which is on the “We Give We Share” initiative.

The lesson started with sharing by Teacher Skylar on his community involvement in northern Thailand years before. Teacher Beatty then shared the Sustainable Development Goals by United Nations for making the world a better place for us all and hope for the future.

All Sixth Form students then split into groups, using  5W1H (Who, What, When, Where, Why & How), to discuss and plan to raise funds for Ban Samae Yai Border Patrol Police School at Mae Ramat, Tak, Thailand, under the “We Give We Share” initiative.

It was an enriching discussion facilitated by the Class Teachers! We look forward to seeing the Sixth Form students implementing the fundraising projects successfully. More importantly, we hope to see they will learn to be compassionate towards the needy in the community and the world.

Cheers to All!

Togetherness as One Team, our staff and students will keep up the spirit of “Being A Global Citizen”!
