On Sept 12, our NK department had the privilege of celebrating Wai Khru Day, a revered tradition in Thai culture that honours the contributions of all teachers in our school community. Held on a Thursday—an auspicious day for education in Thailand—the students expressed their deepest respect and gratitude for their teachers for the invaluable gift of learning. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt gestures as students showed both respect and appreciation towards teachers and staff in the NK department.
Our dedicated Thai department orchestrated this meaningful event, empowering students to boldly express themselves and embrace leadership roles throughout the ceremony. We are especially proud of our K2 students who received awards for their exceptional efforts in writing the Thai language. It was a lovely morning that not only celebrated a significant cultural event but also strengthened the unity within our school community.
