Firefighters are some of the bravest people in our community. They risk their lives to protect people and property from fires and other emergencies. N2, K1 and K2 students met our local firefighters who taught them about fire safety and what to do in case of a fire. During the visit, the firefighters showed us their firefighting equipment and explained how it works. They also demonstrated how they extinguish fires with their hoses!
The visit was very informative and interactive. The students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the work that firefighters do. We were all grateful for the firefighters’ visit and left feeling more prepared to handle an emergency.
