Term 3 commenced with nursery-kindergarten students and teachers embracing World Earth Day on April 22, exemplifying the principles of global citizenship through a deep dive into the 3R concept: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. As they explored strategies to minimize waste, they demonstrated their unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship.
Teachers curated a diverse array of engaging activities, ensuring students experienced a day of profound significance. From nature walks to plant watering, and the much-anticipated crafting session utilizing repurposed materials like cardboard and paper tissue rolls, each moment fostered a deeper connection to Earth.
Furthermore, students also got to be part of our Environmental Pledge board, promising to do their bit, no matter how small.
