The very first Rockin’ Recess Battle of the Bands in the Primary Section culminated in an epic showcase of musicianship and showmanship among the finest bands from Primary 4, 5, and 6. Four months of hard work and practice came down to four minutes of exciting renditions of rock songs to highlight each band’s extraordinary talents on stage.

The student performances were supported by two excellent teacher bands (Misty Mountain with Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” and Diamond Dogs with Bon Jovi’s “Livin on a Prayer”). Not only that, there was also a special performance from Electric Ladyland, the 2024 TISAC Battle of the Band 2nd Place winner with another Led Zep classic “Whole Lotta Love”, among others.
The show was also sprinkled with a diverse set of musical performances from other students with enthusiastic renditions of classical and pop tunes expressed through singing and playing their hearts out.
It was epic. It was cool. It was Rock and Roll. Congratulations to all!
