SISB Suvarnabhumi: Science Club Debate

On Nov 22, the Science Club hosted an electrifying debate on “Are Robots Better for Certain Jobs than Humans?” The event showcased our young scholars’ remarkable talents and critical thinking skills, who passionately argued for and against the motion.

The MPH was alive with energy as students brought compelling arguments, thought-provoking insights, and examples from the real world. The Team For the Motion emphasized robots’ precision, efficiency, and tireless nature, making a solid case for their manufacturing, healthcare, and space exploration advantages. Meanwhile, the Team Against the Motion highlighted the irreplaceable qualities of human ingenuity, emotional intelligence, and adaptability in roles requiring creativity and empathy. After a thrilling exchange of ideas and a rigorous evaluation by our esteemed judges, the Team For the Motion emerged victorious, winning by a close margin of 2 votes to 1. It celebrated intellect, teamwork, and the art of persuasive communication.

👏 Congratulations to all participants for their dedication and effort. Whether you were for or against, you showcased the power of science and critical thinking to inspire change in the world.
