Rod Nam Dam Hua – A Songkran Tradition at SISB Rayong

Rod Nam Dam Hua, the traditional water-pouring ceremony, is a significant part of the Songkran festival in Thailand. This meaningful ritual is performed to pay respect to elders, seek forgiveness, and receive blessings for a prosperous and fortunate new year.

At SISB Rayong, we take pride in honoring Thai traditions and fostering cultural appreciation among our students. Our Thai department organized a beautiful Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, where students and teachers came together to participate in this heartfelt tradition. It was a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude, strengthen our school community, and begin the new year with positivity and respect.

Through events like this, we continue to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Thailand while creating meaningful experiences for our students. Wishing everyone a joyful and prosperous Thai New Year!
