Grade 7 Abstract Art Showcase

We are thrilled to present the captivating artistic journey embarked upon by our Year 7 students as they delved into the world of Abstract Art. Throughout this engaging unit, our students explored the captivating concept of Nōtan, a Japanese artistic approach that revolves around the interplay of positive and negative space.

In addition to their exploration of Nōtan, our budding artists took inspiration from renowned abstract masters such as Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian, and Jackson Pollock. Year 7 students leveraged these iconic artists’ works to ignite their creative spirits and experiment with a diverse array of art mediums, including acrylic paint, watercolour paint, and oil pastels.

These young talents have truly embraced the world of abstract art, and their creations are a testament to their passion, creativity, and dedication. We invite you to join us in celebrating their artistic achievements and look forward to witnessing the continued growth of our aspiring artists.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates from the artistic realm at SISB Nonthaburi School!
