SISB Suvarnabhumi launched Language Week from May 19-22, by diving into the wonderful world of English accents — from British to American to Australian and beyond! Students had a blast mimicking sounds, playing vocabulary games, and discovering how pronunciation can change the flavour of a sentence!
Next, we journeyed through time with Thai and Chinese, exploring the rich histories behind each language. From ancient characters and royal scripts to proverbs passed down through generations, our students gained new appreciation for the cultural depth behind every word.
The week was packed with fun facts, tongue twisters, and activities designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. Whether trying out a new phrase or learning how a word evolved, students were encouraged to take risks, make mistakes, and celebrate every step of the journey.
Our goal? To celebrate the diversity of languages, foster a love for learning, and help students become confident, curious global citizens ready to connect with the world.
