Global Citizens Week at SISB Rayong
Last week, SISB Rayong students embarked on an exciting journey around the world—all without leaving campus! Global Citizens Week was a vibrant celebration of cultures, traditions, and histories from across the globe. Each grade was assigned a unique country to explore, and students dove deep into its stories, music, language, and even traditional games. From Canada to Egypt, Vietnam to Italy, our classrooms transformed into immersive cultural experiences, bringing the world right to our students’ fingertips.
Throughout the week, students learned what it means to be true global citizens. They celebrated diversity, gained a deeper understanding of our shared humanity, and discovered ways to build bridges across cultures. The week was filled with colorful performances, intricate art displays, and captivating cultural presentations that showcased the students’ creativity, knowledge, and teamwork.
As part of Nursery & Kindergarten, This colorful event brought our community together to explore the food, games, and traditions of countries like Mexico, Italy, France, India, and China.
We extend heartfelt thanks to our wonderful parents for their creativity and generosity in preparing traditional dishes and dressing up to represent each country. Their efforts added so much joy to the day, making it a truly immersive experience for our students.
The day’s highlights included performances by our talented students:
- A sweet rendition of Frère Jacques by our K1 class, capturing a taste of France
- A lively Mexican maraca dance by our N1 class
- A graceful Thai dance by our Dance Performing Club
- An elegant Chinese dance by our Chinese Club
As part of Primary and Sixth Form, we wrapped up Global Citizens Week with an exciting showcase event. Classes presented their projects to a panel of judges, and students had the chance to show off their hard work through performances, traditional costumes, and vibrant classroom decorations. The anticipation was high as each class competed for the coveted “Best in Show” title, adding a bit of friendly competition to an already memorable experience.
Global Citizens Week was a true highlight for our students and staff alike—a fantastic week of connection, creativity, and cultural pride. A big thank you to everyone involved, including our dedicated teachers and staff who made this week possible. It’s an event we’ll always remember and look forward to next year’s journey around the world!
