On Sept 17, 2024, our Nursery-Kindergarten students celebrated the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, an important Chinese holiday. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore and embrace the customs of this significant festival.
Following a story-telling session led by our Chinese teacher, the students eagerly took part in lantern-making activities. Using colorful materials, they enthusiastically crafted their own lanterns, showcasing their creativity and artistic abilities. The celebration also included a special treat, as all students enjoyed delicious mooncakes, a traditional symbol of reunion and togetherness.
It was a joyful event that brought everyone together to appreciate Chinese culture.
