SISB Primary recently celebrated Loy Krathong, following the time-honoured tradition of creating and floating krathong and performing music associated with the tradition. The purpose of this celebration is to develop an appreciation of Thai Culture (Loy Krathong) while reinforcing the importance and value of water in all its forms. Students have been learning consistently about the history and significance of Loy Krathong through Thai lessons, wearing Thai traditional attire and making their very own krathong. The Primary students also enjoyed watching various performances by their peers during the afternoon show.
