P3 students learnt about an art movement called “Cubism” created by Pablo Picasso. Students created their portraits in cubism style by using straight lines and geometric shapes on shopping bags. Then, they coloured the works with “Complementary colours” and “Analogous colours”. It’s magic time! Let me be the artwork itself! Put a little geometric body painting on the arms and the artwork on the head. Ta-da! Picasso’s portraits are alive!
