Aligned with our school Vision of preparing our students to be Scholars, Leaders and Global Citizens and cultivating inquisitive, articulate, open-minded, and courageous students, the SISB Thai department has orchestrated a Primary 6 Thai debate. This event serves as a formative assessment, fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills among our students.
Following the intense preliminary rounds held at each campus, the most outstanding student debaters from SISB Pracha Uthit and SISB Thonburi each formed a team for the final debate competition, which took place on April1 at SISB Pracha Uthit. The debate topic was “Social media presents significant risks to the well-being of today‘s youth”.
These student representatives, who had spent countless hours researching and preparing, confidently presented their ideas and evidence with graphic and data presentations, honing their public speaking skills.
The debate was intense, and each team presented many learning points. Their hard work and commitment are commendable, and they received loud cheers from the audience. The overall champion was from SISB Thonburi.
