On Feb 28, the Nursery 2 level welcomed all our curious students to a captivating butterfly workshop hosted by “Little Big Wings,” marking the beginning of our Project Based Learning activities for Term 2. This immersive experience was not only educational but also incredibly engaging, offering hands-on exploration of the fascinating world of butterflies. “Little Big Wings” created interactive stations where children could delve into the life cycles, behaviour and habitats of these beautiful creatures, from caterpillars and chrysalis to butterfly eggs, and even getting a chance to observe live butterflies up close. The highlight was when each class had the chance to release butterflies into the wild, leaving everyone filled with a newfound appreciation for nature and wildlife, and buzzing with excitement for their upcoming PBL projects.
