On the morning of Nov 27, NK SV embraced the vibrant spirit of Loy Krathong, enveloping the school grounds in a celebration of Thai culture. The students came in their adorable Thai costumes, setting the stage for a memorable event. K2 students did a presentation to their parents, a delightful Thai dance performance, while K1 and K2 students showcased the traditional Lam Wong dance, adding cultural richness to the festivities.
The main event unfolded with students engaging in three captivating centres: Krathong Making, Small Krathong Floating, and Thai Coconut Dessert Tasting. Each centre immersed the students in hands-on experiences, fostering a deeper connection to Thai traditions. The students brought home the Krathong they crafted in school to be floated with their families in the nearby river.
