The Primary Thai Department recently held a series of debates in Primary 6, leading to the final competition on March 27. With the selected topic “Social media presents significant risks to the well-being of today’s youth” as the debate’s prompt, the best student debaters from SISB Pracha Uthit and SISB Thonburi came together for a final debate to determine the best of the best. Aside from developing the students’ written and oral communication skills in Thai, the students also learnt how to do research to support their ideas with facts and evidence. We hope that the debaters had fun presenting their ideas to their peers on that day. The audience at the CAMC auditorium and the panel of teacher judges were all impressed by their ability to communicate and express themselves effectively. Well Done everyone!
