SISB Suvarnabhumi: Primary Loy Krathong Festival AY2025/2026

On Nov 5, SISB Suvarnabhumi gathered to observe the beautiful Thai tradition of Loy Krathong. In remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, we embraced a thoughtful and respectful atmosphere. Students, teachers and staff wore subdued traditional Thai attire and participated in activities that focused on quiet reflection and cultural appreciation rather than celebration. The students crafted simple eco-friendly krathong to float their wishes and reflected on Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication to preserving Thai heritage and culture.

We are grateful for the opportunity to teach our students about respect, tradition and the enduring love the nation holds for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. May her grace and compassion continue to inspire us all.
