🌕 Loy Krathong: A Tribute of Gratitude and Remembrance
On Nov 5, SISB Chiangmai held a Loy Krathong celebration in an atmosphere of calm, respect, and deep meaning.
The event was held in remembrance and sincere appreciation for the boundless royal benevolence of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
As part of the ceremony, the Chiang Mai College of Dramatic Arts graciously presented a special performance of the Khon Royal Dance Drama, a revered traditional Thai art form that Her Majesty The Queen Mother significantly contributed to restoring, preserving, and promoting as a national cultural treasure.
This year’s Loy Krathong celebration was therefore more than a beautiful cultural observance—it was an expression of heartfelt gratitude and a respectful tribute to Her Majesty’s profound legacy in safeguarding Thai arts and culture.
May Her Majesty’s legacy continue to inspire us, and may Thai culture forever be cherished and passed on to future generations.
