Job Description

Responsible for managing our IT department and ensuring that our technology infrastructure meets the needs of the organization. The Assistant IT Manager will oversee the implementation and maintenance of our IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications. Additionally, the Assistant IT Manager will be responsible for managing IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Specific Tasks:

  • Assists manager by performing related duties.
  • Supports staff results by communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Complying with the IT Risk plan of the organization (Infrastructure)
  • Aids in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and IT solutions to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Providing day-to-day operational support which relates to IT Network, Infrastructure follow Policy.
  • Control the change of information technology in the organization included software, hardware, application and infrastructure to comply with standard process and regulations.
  • Work closely with the stakeholder to consult, create, and improve the operational excellence process and procedure.
  • Perform periodic review of baseline security standard for the operating systems and network devices.
  • Manage IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and implementation.
  • Ensure that IT systems are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage relationship with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Other jobs as assigned by higher superior or Top management.

Requirements

  • Male or Female
  • Graduated in Bachelor ‘s Degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in IT Service Management
  • Experienced as a supervisor/assistant manager or in team management is preferable
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity-related standards and guidelines, such as ITIL,COBIT ,ISO27001, PDPA or Data Privacy Act, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Able to communicate in English
