SISB Suvarnabhumi: Hour of Code AY2025/2026

On Dec1, our Kindergarten students enthusiastically took part in the annual Hour of Code during their Student-Led Exploration period. Teachers created an exciting, hands-on learning environment by setting up interactive, free-flow educational technology stations across multiple classrooms.

The children explored a variety of activities as they rotated through the stations. Popular highlights included programming simple routes with Blue-Bots, playing digital-physical learning games with Osmo, solving creative puzzles, experimenting with voice recorders, and building imaginative structures with LEGO. These activities were designed to introduce key elements of educational technology in a fun and engaging way.

The Hour of Code provided a joyful, low-pressure introduction to computational thinking and problem-solving. Through these experiences, students developed early skills in logic, sequencing, and critical thinking, while building confidence and a positive attitude towards technology and STEM.
