Job Description

Works at   Singapore International School of Bangkok   (Pracha Uthit Campus)

An IT Support & Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining and managing our software, hardware, systems and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
• Set up accounts and profiles for new hires.
• Testing and evaluating new technology.
• Providing technical support across the company including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Other work as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, related field
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT service or infrastructure
  • Thai and English communication skills (fluent speaking, writing/reading)
  • Good knowledge & understanding of complex IT infrastructures including data center, network, security and server concepts
  • Understanding of Microsoft Technologies, Google G Suite Technology, Fortinet Firewall, etc
  • Experiences in set up Mac Book, iMac iOS device is a plus
  • Experiences in set up Chromebook, G Suite is a plus
  • Experiences in Cloud Service and VM Ware is a plus
