Happy Songkran from SISB Rayong!
Songkran, the Thai New Year, is a meaningful and joyful time across Thailand—a celebration of renewal, family, and tradition. At SISB Rayong, we embraced this special festival with a vibrant celebration that brought our school community together in the true spirit of Songkran.
We began the day by making merit, offering food to monks, and participating in the traditional Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, where students respectfully poured water on the hands of teachers and elders to ask for blessings and good fortune for the year ahead.

The day continued with delightful student performances that showcased their talent and appreciation for Thai culture. There was also plenty of fun, with traditional games like egg-scooping that brought laughter and joy to students and staff alike.
The celebration ended with a splash—literally! Our water-splashing activity brought everyone together in a festive, playful moment, capturing the joyful essence of Songkran.
We wish all members of the SISB community a Happy Songkran filled with health, happiness, and new beginnings.
