On April 4, SISB Suvarnabhumi celebrated the Songkran festival at school. The Thai department organized a series of exciting activities to mark the end of Term 2.
The day began with a special opportunity for the school community to give alms to monks from a local temple. Each class contributed dried foods, followed by a traditional water pouring ceremony to show respect to teachers and administrators.
A vibrant Songkran program featured student performances from both the lower and upper primary sections. There were plenty of opportunities for students to enjoy games, delicious food, and water play.
To fully embrace the festivities, we encourage everyone to come dressed in traditional, bright, and colourful Songkran shirts, adding to the joyful atmosphere of our school community. We truly cherished the opportunity to celebrate the final full week of the term and share the joy of Songkran with everyone in our school community.
