On March 30 and 31, three outstanding Grade 8 students from SISB Nonthaburi – Putter, Sand, and Sandee – made history as the first representatives of our school at the Bangkok Round of the World Scholar’s Cup. Their participation marked a remarkable milestone in our academic journey.
The World Scholar’s Cup is an international academic competition that challenges students in various events, including debates, team writing, the scholar’s challenge and the scholar’s bowl, fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and scholarly excellence.
Putter, Sand and Sandee displayed exemplary dedication and talent throughout the competition. In the Scholar’s Challenge, they showcased their quick thinking and broad knowledge, with Putter even clinching a remarkable gold medal. Sand and Sandee weren’t far behind, also securing silver medals.
Beyond their individual achievements, the trio demonstrated exceptional teamwork and camaraderie, supporting one another through every round and challenge.
Their hard work and success have not gone unnoticed. Putter, Sand and Sandee have qualified to participate in the regional round of the World Scholar’s Cup, a testament to their academic prowess and determination.
