Our art students have been busy exploring different artistic styles and techniques!
Grade 7 took a trip to the world of Impressionism, studying famous artists like Monet and Renoir. Inspired by their use of light and color, they created acrylic paintings in the Impressionist style.
Grade 8 got hands-on with texture! They explored the textures all around them, from rough bark to smooth pebbles. Using their observations, they designed clay tiles that showcase a variety of textures. We can’t wait to see the finished pieces!
