We are thrilled to share the exciting journey of our Grade 8 students who recently embarked on their LEP (Local Education Programme) to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. The experience was nothing short of spectacular, filled with enriching activities and cultural exploration.
π Journey of Discovery: Our adventurous students embarked on an overnight train ride from Bangkok, arriving in Chiang Mai on a bright Saturday morning. The picturesque landscapes and vibrant culture of Northern Thailand awaited them!
π Unique Experiences: One of the highlights of the trip was a hands-on encounter with eco-friendly practices β the students had the incredible opportunity to make paper from elephant dung! Additionally, they showcased their culinary skills by mastering the art of preparing traditional Thai desserts.
π Natural Wonders: Exploration took them to a volcanic park where they witnessed the awe-inspiring power of a geyser. The trip also included a visit to the Golden Triangle, a convergence point where Thailand meets Myanmar and Laos, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich history and geography.
π₯ Capturing Memories: After a fulfilling journey, we’ve compiled a short video capturing the essence of their adventure. Watch as our G8 students share their experiences and reflections upon their return to school.
π Gratitude: A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, teachers, and support staff whose dedication and efforts made this transformative trip possible. Your support played a crucial role in creating lasting memories for our students.
π Congratulations, G8 Students! We extend our warmest congratulations to our Grade 8 students for being part of SISB’s inaugural Learning Enhancement Program to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Your enthusiasm and engagement have truly set the standard for future adventures!
