Primary English Teacher AY2025/2026 starting Aug 2025

The full time teacher makes a full contribution to the provision of the quality educational programs in the school.

To teach and assess the English Language in accordance with the Singapore English Curriculum. To develop materials and resources to aid the teaching of the English Language. Plan and deliver innovative teaching sessions to inspire and motivate pupils.

Roles and Responsibilities of an English Language Teacher:
1. Responsible for primary-level English language teaching and implementation of the school’s teaching standards and requirements to ensure quality language teaching
2. Develop and implement scientifically proven teaching plans and methodologies based on age groups and learning traits
3. Design homework and provide guidance to students, customise methodologies according to student needs, coach them patiently and encourage them to explore more
4. Participate in research organised by the school to enhance professionalism and teaching skills on an ongoing basis;
5. Gain a thorough understanding towards learning and other aspects of each student, deliver outcome-oriented education and maintain active dialogues with parents about student learning
6. Support the school with events.
