Job Description

The Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager in the daily account and finance matters pertaining to SISB Chiangmai.  He/she will coordinate with external and internal auditors relating to AP/AR, Fixed assets/ Inventory, GL and payment process, while following up on issues and actions that have been identified.

Account payable and payment

  • Verify cheque and electronic banking for payment
  • Monthly Cash flow plan and report
  • Coordinate with Academic Section and Back office for smooth working operations

    Account receivable

  • Coordinate with relevant academic section for school activity and income
  • Manage pending AR items
  • Summary for each term invoicing


  • Follow up month end report
  • Consolidate monthly financial report
  • Review all accounting processes to eliminate non value-added activities
  • Monitor Inventory physical count and Adjustment
  • Prepare statutory reports and lodge them in accordance with local Laws
  • Verify adjustment journal voucher
  • Review Balance sheet reconciliation process
  • Implement and maintain effective accounting practices and procedures as required by local laws
  • Plan and facilitate the audit of financial statements and reports with the external auditors
  • Coordinate with Internal auditor and External Auditors
  • Oversee accounting process to ensure the accuracy and completeness as well as comply with accounting principles and company policy
  • Manage Fixed assets and implement adequate controls and procedures to safeguard company’s assets


  • Review Yearly Corporate Tax
  • Review yearly corporate tax (PND50, PND51)




  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • 5 or more years of experience in accounting & finance
  • Knowledge of accounting software “ Formula” will be ad advantage
  • Familiar with Thai accounting standards & tax laws
  • Experience with listed company will be highly considered
